Mental Health & Psychological Safety Training Programs

Mental Health First Aid

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) gives participants the knowledge and practical skills to recognize signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges, approach someone who may be struggling, provide initial support, and connect them with appropriate professional and community resources. This training helps build mental health literacy, reduce stigma, and create more informed and supportive workplaces and communities.

Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR)

Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) is a suicide prevention training designed to help participants recognize warning signs that someone may be experiencing a suicidal crisis. Participants learn three practical steps—Question, Persuade, and Refer—to engage someone in conversation, encourage them to seek help, and connect them with appropriate resources. QPR helps individuals build the confidence to recognize when someone may need support and know how to respond.

The Mandt System®

The Mandt System® focuses on building healthy workplace relationships, strengthening communication, and preventing and de-escalating challenging or potentially unsafe situations. Participants develop practical skills for recognizing escalating behavior, responding in ways that promote safety and dignity, and reducing conflict before it reaches a crisis point. The training supports a relationship-centered approach to creating safer environments for employees, clients, and the people they serve.

Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) Training

Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) Training helps participants understand how childhood adversity and trauma can influence health, behavior, relationships, and well-being across the lifespan. Participants explore the impact of ACEs while learning about protective factors, resilience, and trauma-informed approaches to supporting others. The training helps organizations move from asking “What is wrong with this person?” toward a more informed understanding of “What may have happened, and how can we respond in a supportive way?”

Building Knowledge. Confidence. Safer Communities.

Together, our training programs provide organizations with a comprehensive approach to mental health literacy, suicide prevention, trauma awareness, crisis prevention, de-escalation, and psychological safety. Whether we are training frontline employees, supervisors, organizational leaders, educators, healthcare professionals, or community members, our goal is to turn knowledge into practical skills people can use when it matters most.
